Established in 1978 by Sue and Dave Carpenter, Lark Hill is a family owned and operated estate producing organic, biodynamic and sustainable wines from the cool-climate Canberra District Wine Region.
Second-generation winemaker Chris Carpenter uses minimal intervention winemaking to showcase wines of pristine terroir from the diverse climates of the Canberra District. These include the premium single-vineyard wines from the estate owned vineyards in Bungendore and Murrumbateman, as well as a range of regional blends that embody casual enjoyment. The Cellar Door offers guests an intimate, casual space to enjoy curated wine flights, chat to the family and choose their favourite bottles.
Additionally, the on-site restaurant partner, Agostinis at Lark Hill makes an occasion of lunch in the vines with a stunning view that will transport you to the heart of Tuscany. Alongside a selection of Agostinis’ classic dishes, including calamari fritti, fresh daily pasta and tiramisu are rotating dishes that capture the relaxing scenery of Lark Hill in the changing seasons.
